    1999 VINTAGE MARK McGWIRE BASEBALL CARDINALS FLAG PENNANT
    This pennant was sold the year following his record breaking home run season. In 1998, McGwire was in a torrid home run race with Ken Griffey, Jr. and Sammy Sosa. In the end, McGwire's 70 topped Sosa's 66, both breaking Roger Maris' record of 61.  A few years later, the new record was shattered by Barry Bonds with 73.
